Prepare, submit, and follow your manuscript.
Before you submit
NextGen Physics considers work on superconductivity, quantum materials, and time-space physics. Explain the physical question, assumptions, methods, supporting evidence, and limitations. Read the editorial policies and disclose related manuscripts or prior dissemination.
Submission checklist
- Anonymous manuscript: upload a readable PDF without author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or identifying file metadata for double-anonymous review.
- Separate title page: supply the full title, all authors and affiliations, corresponding author, funding and competing interests. Enter accurate contributor metadata in the portal.
- Complete metadata: title, abstract, keywords, references, and a data availability statement. ORCID identifiers may be supplied where available.
- Supporting files: upload LaTeX sources, figures, and supplementary data as clearly labelled separate files. Use descriptive filenames. The upload limit is 100 MB per file; contact the editorial office for larger datasets.
- Cover letter: describe the contribution and scope fit in Comments for the Editor. Confirm that all authors approve the submission, and disclose substantive AI assistance.
What happens next
Save a draft to return later. Final submission creates an acknowledgement and a record in your author dashboard. The editor selects reviewers and sends the decision through the portal. Email alerts supplement the dashboard; check your spam folder if an alert does not arrive.
Revisions and responses
Upload a clean revised manuscript in the requested review round, plus a point-by-point response. Quote each comment, explain the change, and identify the relevant section or page. Discuss a point respectfully if you disagree. Keep identifying information out of files intended for anonymous review.
After acceptance
Respond to copyediting queries and review the proof before publication. Publication metadata, rights, and any applicable charges must be confirmed with the editorial office. No payment is collected on this website.
